Administrator:
Sandra Sue Taylor KD6HCI

First licensed in 1992, Sandi now holds a General class license. Her first Baker to Vegas was in 1996 when she was assigned as supervisor of Command Post operations in Vegas. The next year, she was responsible for coordinating the entire communications group for four running teams, and she continues to organize and oversee communications for multiple running teams for the race.

Technical Director:
Dan Fergot KE6RZA

His first Baker to Vegas experience was in 1996 one month after getting his Ham license. His first assignment was as a communicator in a Follow Van. After that, Dan was a roving Technical Support person, providing assistance with equipment and other technical matters. In 2003, he became responsible for all technical aspects of supporting the running teams, including making sure that all equipment needs are met.

Management Assistants:
Chris KE6ANK and
Angela KG6UUM Novotny

This couple experienced their first Baker to Vegas in 2006, and
immediately became an integral part of the management team. They became involved in the planning for the 2007 race the day after their first race ended. Chris is now the Technical Assistant, and Angie is now the Administrative Assistant. Both are invaluable to the operation of the organization.

Venturing Crew 800:

This group is part of the Boy Scouts of America, and is open to boys and girls ages 14 to 21. Their group is chartered by Yucaipa Valley Amateur Radio Club (YVARC), and quite a few of them have studied, tested, and obtained their licenses. We are very proud to have several of this group as members of our organization.
